Gartner’s Digital Workplace Summit in London last week was a gathering of minds, ideas, and innovations, highlighting the momentous shifts taking place in the workplace landscape. From hybrid models to the integration of AI, the discussions were inspiring and forward-looking. As I reflect on the event, several key themes and takeaways emerge that underscore the importance of technology in navigating the future of work.

A dynamic shift in workplace models
The Summit’s theme, “Advance your digital workplace maturity, employee experience, and adoption,” was a timely reminder of the evolving needs of the modern workforce. The shift from traditional office setups to hybrid, remote, and distributed models was a focal point of many sessions. Attendees delved into the challenges and opportunities this shift presents, with a strong emphasis on maintaining productivity, efficiency, and employee satisfaction in these new environments.
The dialogue around these models revealed a consensus: flexibility is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Organizations must adapt to retain talent and stay competitive. The discussions highlighted that embracing these models requires not only a change in mindset but also robust technological support to ensure seamless operations and collaboration.
VOSS: Leading the charge in UC automation and AI readiness
Our presence at the summit was marked by engaging interactions and insightful sessions. We showcased our UC automation management and UC performance management technology, which are designed to address the dynamic challenges of today’s work environments. Our solutions aim to optimize collaboration platforms for AI integration, accelerate digital adoption, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Visitors to our booth were particularly keen on understanding how our technology can support their journey towards digital dexterity and AI readiness. The conversations we had reaffirmed our belief that a strategic approach to UC is critical for organizations looking to stay ahead of the curve.
A highlight of our booth activities was the drinks reception on Monday evening. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and build relationships. The discussions we had were not only insightful but also paved the way for potential collaborations and partnerships.
Session highlight: Digital dexterity and AI readiness
One of the standout moments for me was the opportunity to deliver a presentation on “Digital Dexterity – The Secret to AI Readiness in Your UC Stack.” The session explored how a UC strategy rooted in digital dexterity can facilitate the rapid adoption of disruptive technologies like AI. The response was incredibly positive, with attendees eager to learn actionable strategies to future-proof their digital workplaces.
